The Udall Foundation recognizes 80 college juniors and seniors every year who intend to pursue careers related to the environment and demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to environmental fields. With over 1,000 Udall Scholars to date, many of whom share a passion for environmental education, the natural world, and public service, we have been able to create a partnership between two of the Foundation’s programs by hiring and training scholarship alumni to lead Parks in Focus trips.
The Foundation counts on alumni coordinators to take the Parks in Focus model and use their creativity to develop cohesive trip plans, fun lessons, games, and activities. Alumni are perfectly suited for leading Parks in Focus trips because of their backgrounds, experience, and passion. Because of who they are, we are able to harness their energy, provide leadership training, and further build the Udall community. Alumni have several opportunities to get involved with the program, and we will highlight both our trip coordinators and interns here. Click on the thumbnails to view full bios.
